The Leap of Faith
27.5m tall and 61m long, from the top of the Ziggurat the Leap of Faith catapults riders into a transparent tunnel and through a shark-filled lagoon.
Oh man, I thought this was one of those virtual models, but it is real. No way my ass ever tries something like this. With my luck, I’d somehow flip into the lagoon and feelings of joy and excitement would turn into SHEER TERROR AND THE NEED TO SURVIVE AT ALL COSTS.
WHO THINKS OF THESE THINGS? It is awesome tho.
That’s what I’m saying. Like, what is the pitch for stuff like this?
“Listen bro, I’ve been doing blow and watching Legends of the Hidden Temple reruns all day and I have got the sweetest idea for a ride. First, you build a huge-ass replica of a Mayan temple, vines and shit all up in it, and put a WATER SLIDE in the middle. THEN, surround it with a moat full of man-eating sharks and place an underwater tube going through that moat so that people have the illusion of plummeting to their death, but surviving, only to find themselves face to face with Jaws.”
“Dave, I don’t say this often, but I want to make sweet love to your brain.”
“RIGHT? Now let’s drop some acid and count cloud animals.”
It’s like if Charlie from Always Sunny was allowed to make amusement park rides.
I just need this on my blog.

have you ever had a famous person reply to you on twitter? if so, reblog who
fujiidom / frankenteen / suesylvester-:
Melora Hardin (Jan from The Office)
Jeanette McCurdy (Sam from iCarly)Pete Wentz was my first ever. Then Harry Shum Jr. and Iqbal Theba. :)
Kunal Nayyar, Bill Prady, James Gunn, Donald Glover, Sara Gilbert, and technically Wil Wheaton.
I don’t really do this, but it was, sadly, a high point in my life:
Ezra Koenig (of Vampire Weekend). Once about Sharks vs. Cats (he was for cats, boo) and then another time about his empanada, which isn’t a euphemism for anything.

hm hm hm hm hm.
for @averyweisel & everyone who fought valiantly during the great war between sharks and cats. recognize~*~*
So, I was thinking about sharks in the shower and then, when I was finished, I checked my phone and one of my friends asked me what Shark Week was. True story.
Sharks!
Back to my regular programming. Sorry for the shark-crazy yesterday. We lost, but we all know that Tumblarity doesn’t mean anything. So, ha!
I wish we could keep the avatar things, though. Also, hello new followers! I probably won’t be posting a lot about sharks in the near future, so if that’s what you’re after, you can go ahead and unfollow. No hard feelings. :)
One last, I promise!
Keep fighting the good fight, sharks.
