My mom painted me beside some flowers. My dad took this picture and it took her a while to agree because… well, because it’s pretty damn hard to paint. (If you look closely, aside from the folds of my skirt, there are spotty things, too.) Anyway, I’m glad she painted it. She’s one of my favorite painters. Amazing things, she can do with a brush and some paint.
It’s on view at West Gallery (48 West Avenue, Quezon City) until February 13, 2012.
