Anonymous: What tips can you give in building a portfolio?
Pick your best work, with pieces that show your range. Have a mix of personal projects (although try to exercise some degree of editing here), client work, student work, et cetera.
You don’t have to include everything you’ve ever made in your entire life, and truthfully, that would probably be annoying and overwhelming (unless you are a super talented genius, then by all means).
Show work that shows what you can do best, basically.
