Hello, you’re really nice! Happy new year. :)
Hello.I love the Jessica Darling Series too. Have you read all the five books?
Yes, I have. Although I only entirely love the first 2. The fifth one was really nice, if a little anticlimactic.

How can you be bored on New Year’s Eve?? Happy New Year, though. :)
Hahaha it’s boring since we celebrate at midnight, so mostly it’s just waiting until then. :) Happy New Year!

Carina! I can’t help but imagine you as Jessica Darling while reading the Sloppy Firsts series!
THAT MAKES ME SO HAPPY BECAUSE I LOVE JESS (AND MARCUS). My BFF (Isa/themorninglight) always calls herself the Hope to my Jessica, so this was a really nice comment.

i heard that you’re this internet celebrity, but that wasn’t the reason why i...

to risks and to stories:
themorninglight:
December was the climax of my 2009.
And if there’s anything I learned, anything at all, it’s that:
Things are never what they seem to be.
People will still surprise you.
God has a funny sense of humor.
When you love someone, you let them go - over and over and over again.
Sometimes the hardest thing and the right thing are the same.
All we have are moments.

Accidentally overhearing someone say something nice about you.
Waking up and realizing you still have a few hours left to sleep.
First kisses.
Making new friends and spending time with the old ones.
Singing in the bathroom.
Sweet dreams.
Hot chocolate.
Making brownies and cookies.
Holding hands with someone you care about.
Watching a sunset.
Sleeping in.

Tumblr 2009.
wakethedevil:
We’re fucking DICKS.
We bicker at the littlest things.
We laugh at childish gifs.
We argue over dead celebrities.
We photoshop anything and everything.
We make dumbass memes about anything, and then ruin them.
We cry and bitch about everything.
We laugh when anyone else does it.
We talk about Mean Girls, Brand New and any shitty band on Warped.
More than anything, we...

How do you do the pencil-looking thing you do? If it’s Illustrator, is there a similar brush/whatever on Photoshop? :(
It’s a brush packaged with Illustrator. Try poking through Photoshop; I’m sure you know it has a bunch of brushes. There are loads of free custom ones online, though. You might want to Google.
Well I guess you’re right. O_o...

:] hi, i love your tumblr
Thank you.
Well yeah, if it weren’t entitled Taking Woodstock it would have been an awesome movie. I thought the guy Emile played was the Max from ATU! And yes yes yes Liev Schreiber!!! That was the best part.
Well, the book was called “Taking Woodstock” :) Idk why it matters, to be honest. Haha. True Story: I...

Taking Woodstock was such a disappointment, I expected it to be 100% Woodstock. But it was still a good movie, sans the deceiving (not really) title.
Well, it was based on a book by the main character, so I didn’t really super expect it to be entirely centered on Woodstock. I don’t know, maybe I’m biased because a) DEMETRI MARTIN, b) Paul Dano, c) Emile Hirsch...

thanks. i’m afraid people do expect to see the familiar facade of invincibility from me though. so that’s what i will have to give them.
that was genuine gratitude by the way.

Thinking of doing Project 365.
Y/N?
Any tips or advice?
Self-portraits or dailies?
(I actually attempted a Project 333 for 2009. But I guess we all know what happened to that.)

You’re not the only one! I mean I did say I prefer Anansi Boys to Neverwhere, but I think Neverwhere’s bound to affect readers more than Anansi Boys.
Uh, okay! Hahaha.

Talking About Reading One Book a Week for a Year,... →
Some guy (Inaki Escudero) read 52 books this year. (Last year, I read 50; this year, I read 31. There might be some I forgot to list, but that’s the count so far.)
I’m going to read 52 next year.
